Carpe Diem Special #186 Georgia’s 2nd “days of Christmas” (choka)
bundling up again
we leave the Christmas service
colored lights aglow
in windows all over town
we all ooh and aah
at each decorated house
as we drive around
laughter and Christmas carols
echo through the car
demands for hot chocolate
drown out the singing
as night’s chill seeps through our coats
running out of songs
we head towards our warm home
bright stars light the sky
as we watch our breath condense
snow begins to fall
we stand in awe of nature
peace settling on the night
if you like choka here is my favorite from last years 7 days to Christmas
It was Not a Silent Night
or a fun one about our Christmas play
Christmas Play
A lovely family setting. 🙂
