Hallelujah

Hallelujah

Lenard Cohen tribute for B&P Shadorma & Beyond

Hallelujah

God be praised
on my lips today
giving thanks
with my tongue
but empty words can’t conceal
this rent heart

oh Hallelujah
I whisper once more
tears still flow
without faith
my soul can never please him
curse his name

still somehow
he still gets to me
drys my tears
mends my wounds
once again his favor rests
oh Hallelujah

    1. I like your view. So often we don’t see our own good. A smile or a visit with the sick doesn’t seem on the same scale as working in a foreign country or donating large amounts of cash for humanitarian aide, but all of it is important.
