boom en wolken versmelten
met de grashalmen

autumn rushes
tree and clouds become one
with blades of grass

amber grain
from roadside ditch
they wave and bow

bittersweet.jpgautumn bittersweet
braided vines entangling
the tree’s heart and soul

het dovende licht
laat laatste bloemen zingen
over de velden

the dying light
lets the last flowers sing
over the fields

trekking  mountain stream
ancient trees relinquish leaves
to watery graves
temperature dropping at the source
leaves entombed in ice
